Michael Hampton - Managing Director and Chief Pilot

Michael served as a helicopter pilot in the British Army before joining the commercial aviation industry. He initially specialised in purchasing and leasing aircraft while freelancing as a pilot with several UK helicopter charter companies.

Michael joined CSE Aviation in 1984 to head the helicopter sales department. In 1994 he founded Oxford Air Services Limited, providing sales and charter services for both fixed-wing and rotary-wing customers.

Combining business expertise with his hands-on flying skills, Michael has built a loyal customer following in the corporate charter business as well as in specialist markets such as film and aerial survey. He personally selects all of Oxford Air Services' pilots to ensure the highest levels of professionalism, courtesy and care for every one of our passengers.
